Until 1922 he was the showman and even the silent movie star, but in his last years he was the hunter of fake ghosts. After his death, his wife spent 10 years trying to contact him from beyond the grave via a secret code they had agreed upon. To this day, every Halloween--the day of Houdini’s death--people around the world continue to try to make contact with this amazing entertainer.
